After a career in classical dance with the Boston Ballet and the Los Angeles Chamber Ballet I found myself still unable to be satisfied with my achievements. No matter what I chose to do I was always looking for the next project or the next step up so to speak. I even began to doubt and question my reasoning faculty. I had the thought that if I changed jobs or took on other work then everything in my life would be better. Nothing I chose seemed to satisfy my hunger. As well, my relationships were not fulfilling and my joy even with the things that I loved was missing.
First, Swamiji gave me the intellectual understanding of my suffering, then the tools for my transformation and finally transformation itself.
Changing my job or the relationships would never offer a solution. The suffering was within myself.
Now through experience and thanks to Swamiji, I know that nothing in life can cause me suffering without my silent permission. Life is a joy and because of Swamiji my life is a simple overflowing and any job or relationship is just an added bonus because I am complete no matter what I choose to do. Currently I teach for the Nithyananda Mission in Los Angeles and India.
Ultimately, Swamiji showed me through experience that I am the most successful creator possible and that I had to go in for transformation of myself.
